Best pictures took by JWST in 2023, "What's happening in the universe? Week-9

This week nothing much happens in the universe, some things happens like SpaceX launched their FALCON 9, with 23 satellites.  Rather than that, Today is 31st December 2023. The last day of 2023, And I wanna share you some interesting things like most beautiful pictures captured by JWST.  Just before Supernova, this spectacular photo This is the photo of a Supernova, that capture just before the supernova and that gives us this spectacular image, this is the star W124, almost 15,000 light year away from our Earth, in the Sagittarius constellation.  The next is THE JUPITER,  Jupiter’s Atmosphere is Wilder than We Thought Not one to be left out,  the giant Jupiter was imaged this year , too. Thanks to Webb’s resolution, scientists discovered a high-speed jet stream in the planet’s atmosphere. The next photo is not mention above but it is most mysterious photo of 2023. Answering the Cosmic Questions In  Webb’s Herbig-Haro 46/47 image , a question-mark shaped ga...

NASA's Webb Rings in the Holidays with the Ringed Planet Uranus NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope recently trained its sights on unusual and enigmatic Uranus, an ice giant that spins on its side. Webb captured this dynamic world with rings, moons, storms, and other atmospheric features – including a seasonal polar cap. The image expands upon a two-color version released   earlier this year , adding additional wavelength coverage for a more detailed look. With its exquisite sensitivity, Webb captured Uranus’ dim inner and outer rings, including the elusive Zeta ring – the extremely faint and diffuse ring closest to the planet. It also imaged many of the planet’s 27 known moons, even seeing some small moons within the rings. In visible wavelengths as seen by Voyager 2 in the 1980s, Uranus appeared as a placid, solid blue ball. In infrared wavelengths, Webb is revealing a strange and dynamic ice world filled with exciting atmospheric features. One of the most striking of these i...

NASA's Webb Stuns With New High-Definition Look at Exploded Star Like a shiny, round ornament ready to be placed in the perfect spot on a holiday tree, supernova remnant Cassiopeia A (Cas A) gleams in a new image from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope.  As part of the 2023 Holidays at the White House, First Lady of the United States Dr. Jill Biden debuted the first-ever White House Advent Calendar. To showcase the “Magic, Wonder, and Joy” of the holiday season, Dr. Biden and NASA are celebrating with this new image from Webb. While all is bright, this scene is no proverbial silent night. Webb’s NIRcam (Near-Infrared Camera) view of Cas A displays this stellar explosion at a resolution previously unreachable at these wavelengths. This high-resolution look unveils intricate details of the expanding shell of material slamming into the gas shed by the star before it exploded. Cas A is one of the most well-studied supernova remnants in all of the cosmos. Over the years, grou...

JWST Study Reveals Rocky Planets Can Form in Extreme Environments The First Image you are seeing, is the Image of "the forming of the rocky plants in  eXtreme Ultraviolet Environments (XUE).  When astronomers are observing, they attracted by this XUE, and turned their focus into it and after observing the 15 disks in the 3 areas of Cluster NGC 6357 also known as the LOBSTER NEBULA in the constellation of SCORPIUS. They found water, Carbon monoxide and Carbon dioxide and another two gases named Hydrogen cyanide and acetylene. They found all of these in XUE 1 in PISMIS 24 in LOBSTER.  In fact, at this time JWST is the only telescope that can detect, observe and study these rocky plants forming disks using their high resolution, high sensitivity and different kind of Infrared cameras.  Astronomers studies it's physical and chemical properties using Medium resolution Spectrometer on Webb's Mid-infrared camera. Only the MIRI wavelength range and spectral resolution allow ...
